David Moyes gets the blues

Soo, yesterday was the Manchester Derby and if you're a neutral like me then its always a good watch. (I secretly do enjoy watching the Manchester Derby).

I was expecting a close game between the 2 sides but once I had heard Van Persie had been injured with a thigh strain, i instantly knew it would be advantage to Man City.

As expected both sides got off to a good start but Man City then took over with Aguero, Navas, Nasri and Yaya Toure at the heart of everything good for Man City. The inevitable then happened, Aguero scored. From then on, it was all Man City, Man Utd were getting steamrolled in every area on the pitch.
It ended in a 4 - 1 victory to Man City but the manner in which they disposed of Man Utd will have definitely made the rest of the Premier League stand up and take attention.

I also watched Chelsea v Fulham, it was a typical west London derby. In all honesty, it wasn't a very good match but we got the three points and that's all that matters. It was, however, a very special day for John Obi Mikel. He scored Chelsea's 2nd goal which was has 1st Premier League Goal for Chelsea. A Very Special Moment indeed.

This Week, im working down at Vicarage Road as they take on Norwich in the Capital One Cup and Wigan in the Sky Bet Championship, I'm very much looking forward to working at these games (and watching the game lol)

Champions League

The Last Time I watched a Champions League Game was the final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. I was impressed and as a neutral I'd have to say Bayern Munich were the better team that evening.

When the Champions League got started again, I was very excited. Looking at the draw, I would have to say that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich are the clear favourites but you never know with Football these days.

Last Night, it officially got underway and Man Utd, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich all laid down markers to the rest of Europe. Real Madrid, who have added Gareth Bale to their ranks, look a very frightening prospect. Once Bale is match fit, the thought of him and Ronaldo running towards you will give any defender pure nightmares.

What remains to be seen is how Chelsea will fare after being knocked out in the group stage last season, but with Jose Mourinho back in the helm, you just know Chelsea will want to reclaim their crown.

Who would you view as potential Champions League contenders and are there any potential underdogs. I'd Love to hear from you
